Recently in end December, it was widely reported that a bridal shop in IMM closed down. Many couples were affected by the closure.  Refer to report here and here. 

Hence, what should couples do in case such situation arises? 

Some of you may know about motorcar insurance, life insurance, but have you ever come across wedding insurance? 

The Wedding Photographers Association (Singapore), also known as WPAS, was set up only last month, has plans to introduce wedding insurance. According to the news report, in cases whereby bridal shops close down or photographers failed to turn up on the day of wedding, couples will get their money back.
