Corporate Info

CASE

The Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation that is committed to protect consumer interests through information, education and the promotion of fair and ethical trade practices. One of our key achievements is the advocacy for the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (CPFTA), which came into effect on March 1, 2004.

Our Vision

A consumer-friendly Singapore.

Our Mission

To champion consumer interests and promote fair trading.

Our Core Values

  • Consumer-Centric
  • Adaptability
  • Sincerity
  • Excellence

Our Approach

We adopt a three-pronged approach in working towards an ideal consumer-business environment.

Educating Consumers

We continuously provide consumers with new and updated research findings, survey results and information to make every Singaporean a smarter consumer.

Working with Retailers

We understand that consumers and businesses have a mutually dependent relationship. As such, we work with businesses and their trade captains to promote ethical and good business practices.

Pushing for Legislation

Last but not least, we have relentlessly lobbied the government for fairer legislation with regard to consumer issues and interests.

Friends and Partners

CASE will not be able to achieve her success without the help of our friends and partners, both locally and overseas. We have also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to solidify our partnership and cooperation.
